Barbara would yell at strangers on the street. “Nobody wants to hear my story! I go to these damn people and I tell’ em who I am and I'm fucking broke—I'm flat fucking broke and I was a goddamned movie star! I see all these fucking people at premieres and nobody wants to know what the fuck's happened—that I haven't got a fucking bed to sleep in and I haven't got a dime and I'm goddamned broke and can't even get a fucking drink!”
